The Ridgeway – East Hendred Down to Bury Down (1.6miles)

I went after work to complete this short 1.6 mile stretch, ahead of a longer 3 day walk I planned to do at the weekend.

The ground was fairly flat and steady walking with sweeping views down towards Didcot, with Didcot Power stations menacingly in the view. The sound of the A34 begins to roar louder as you approach Bury Down. The good thing about this stretch is you can see your destination as the views further down the Ridgeway are quite expansive.
