Majestic Moments - A Wildlife Encounter

Today I wanted to share with you some footage from the WildlifeBox archives. Something I haven't shared with you before.

One February evening a few years back, I was out walking just before sunset. There was an area of unused land flanked by houses on one side and a railway and canal on the other. This was often a perfect spot to see deer. These majestic roe deer would often be seen grazing on the patches of exposed grass on man-made mounds.

I spotted a very beautiful male stag and he had spotted me too. I followed him as he bounded across this unused wasteland Whenever I see deer like this I often think how majestic they are and how they quietly watch us from a distance. This area has actually been built on now, so I could only imagine that the deer have been forced to move away from this area and venture deeper into the countryside. Then I spotted a female deer with him.
